My girlfriend has been getting the bsod as of June 22 and today July 4th.
Here's her dmp file: http://www.filedropper.com/070415-48500-01_1

I looked into it with windbg and it says this:
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for cpuz136_x64.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for cpuz136_x64.sys
Probably caused by : cpuz136_x64.sys ( cpuz136_x64+2073 )

My girlfriend has never installed CPU-Z before.
I googled cpuz136_x64.sys and people were getting this problem when they haven't installed or heard CPU-Z before.
Now I am scanning her laptop with Malwarebytes to see if there's any viruses.

Anyone else got this problem or any advice on what I should do next?

Thanks

Hmm looks like something called Snow can install that file? Heard of it?? I havent

Or ToolWiz Time-Freeze?

The stop error youre getting is 0x0a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL hal.dll is crashing

Possible Avast is causing this. I would uninstall it then use their removal tool

I would also disable AMD overdrive. This is known to cause crashes

Possible malwarebytes is causing it too. Are you overclocking?

There is no program called "Snow", ToolWiz Time-Freeze and AMD overdrive located at Programs and Features.
Also, her laptop isn't overclocked.

If I uninstall Avast and malwarebytes then wouldn't she be vulnerable to viruses and such?

Alright.
This is my first time using windbg but isn't this a driver problem caused by cpuz136_x64.sys ?
