hi.

my pc has been doing something weird ever since I had built. every like 30 minutes the pc would make a non rapid single crack noise.(the crack noise sound something like walking on the stairs or moving a heavy pc case around).as this sound is not causing any serous issues I'm starting to think that this is not normal. could there be an issue with my pc or do all cases do this?

thanks

I don't think itll be the psu or the gpu since ive rma both of them fro a different problem.have you ever bought a new pc case and try to lift it or wiggle it? you know how it does that creaking noise?its not like a very loud one but just like a ''tick'' sound.this happens to my pc every 1 hour.i had this on my pc ever since I built it.

my specs

i7 5820k

corsair h100igtx

gtx 970 strix

corsair 780t case

8gb ddr4 crucial 2133mhz

msi x99 a gamming 7

corsair rm 850i

hi apologies for the late reply I couldn't acces the internet for a while.anyways what do you mean by metal expanding or getting warm? can you explain this? thanks.(btw theres no wires touching fans to make noise like that)if you try lifting a heavy pc case for example a corsair 780t and while you lift it it makes a crackling sound , this crackling sound is exactly what this noise sounds like except this noise makes only 2 ticks every 20=30 mins even when I'm idle.i tried doing a read test to see if that tick noise appears while my hdd is under load but no noise appeared(using hd tune)
