Cracked vs Original pc games

Hi friends i have to play games but i have some questions, here they are
1) I want to know what is a cracked CD and why is it so cheap?
2)Is there a difference between a cracked and an original one?
3)Does it require any special software to play?
4)Does playing with a cracked one has any disadvantages or we cannot play an original one after using using a cracked cd?

1. A CD that holds a cracked version of the game. They pirated it, and had to remove security software to make it work.
2. The cracked versions often perform worse, have bugs, crashes, and sometimes even viruses.
3. Not normally.
4. Yeah. For one thing, it's illegal. Also, often the cracked versions of games don't work correctly, some can't be played all the way through, and many have graphical bugs or other issues. When the people crack a game to remove the security and allow it to be duplicated, the security is bound up so tightly to the code of the game that they often end up breaking or corrupting parts of the game to get rid of the security. Cracked games also usually don't work with mods, like Skyrim for example.
