Crackling and Sizzling sound in Pc

I was rebooting my pic and then my pic made some popping,sizzling,crackling sounds and the pic turned off. I unplugged everything. I'm kind of scared tot turn it back on. Can someone give me some advice

I do have a Corsair h115 in my system. I'm kind of scared. Should I open it up and inspect or try turning the system back on?

I'll recommend inspecting first, if something has leaked or fried, you don't want to attempt to start it.

Ok, I'll do that tomorrow since it's late here now. If it has leaked...do you think corsair will cover the replacement of damaged components?

Corsair will probably cover your leaking H115, if it is in fact leaking. They most likely won't cover the replacement of anything else that was damaged. Contact them to be sure.

I really hope it's not a short that's arcing and creating that noise. That would be far worse than a leaking AIO water cooler.

My aging H100i also makes funny noises on start up only because it's so old, there's air in the system now. I can still use the poor thing, but I probably shouldn't...

I've determined that it is not the water cooler. Everything is still perfectly dry.

I just tried turning on my PC and everything worked fine. Thanks for your help. Realizing now it could of been my surge protector or headphones or speakers.
