Lately I've been having issues with my computer making crackling noises when audio is playing. When I'm gaming or listening to music, the crackling noise just occurs. My CPU and GPU temperatures are just fine and I have a wireless headset. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Solution
From what I understand about that specific hardset is that the battery does not last long.

The static may be being caused by low battery-- During charging the headset via USB cable, does the headset becomes clear? When battery is fully charged does it works without issue?

Of so, the fix is to charge the headset daily, or use with the cord.
What version of the Logitech Gaming Software and Audio Drivers are you using? Are these fully updated?
Some folks have noticed improvement when they role or step back in the drivers, back to version 8.40.83 or earlier.

When you do an audio test do you hear the crackling noise on all the channels?
Also, what is the sampling set at?

I don't have Logitech Gaming Software and my Audio Drivers are Realtek I think. It's a simple headset, not really optimized for gaming hence why I don't have the drivers. And what do you mean with 'on all the channels' and 'sampling set at'? Sorry for not understanding.

That might indeed be the problem.. this headset runs out of battery pretty quickly. I guess that's just the downside of this headset. Thanks for helping me out man. If the noise crackling returns with a different headset, I'll be sure to update this thread.
