Lately I've been having random flashes on the top of my monitor for no apparent reason. It's not something I can record unfortunately because it's completely random. It's not triggered by anything.
Anyways to the issue: It flashes purple on the very top of my monitor (affects a very small part of the monitor, it looks like a tv shutting off kind of effect/spazzes out) every few hours. I've taken out the hdmi plug and put it back in. It did fix something, it no longer flashes purple. However, now it flashes white. And to clarify on the color issue, it's not pure purple/pure white. My screen turns purple and whatever I'm doing on the monitor still shows, just in purple/white.
I have not tried display port (I don't have a display port cable) and I've recently received a gpu that was from a RMA. And I do have an issue with the motherboard vga plug, my screen turns completely purple (if that has anything to do with it). Can you guys help me out? Thanks!
