I have had an odd crash where it will shut down after playing certain games. Most of the time is in a high action type moment but not always. The screens will go black and you will hear a stuttering sound. After this you are forced to restart manually.

I replaced my entire computer, PSW, CPU, Ram, Video card, mobo, HD. Fresh install of windows. Still the crash persists. I could really use some suggestions as this is driving me nuts.

power supply is an EVGA Supernova 850W G2 (gold rated)
Intel I7 4790K
AMD 390
16 GB gskill 1666
gigabyte z97x Ultra durable Mobo black edition.
Samsung Evo 540 evo (500 GB).

Black screen, can still talk sometimes if im on skype and then after about 3 sec it stops everything except for a repeating sound

Since you've already replaced it, I'm hesitant to say it might be the gfx card. But that would be my first guess. I don't imagine you still have your old components to swap out one at a time...

What have you got running in the background when this happens (besides the game)? I'm wondering if this only happens when you have Skype or some other app running in the background. Check your tray and check Win System Configuration for stuff that is active.

Ya I was wondering about that too as far as programs go. Ill try it without skype. I was also thinking about disconnecting my keyboard and camera and replacing them with some of the extras i have to see if that is doing it. Video card wise i have an older one i could try. Ill try it this afternoon
