Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing great.
Lately i've been having a crash issue which started as some random hangups in some games. I thought it had something to do with game/drivers updates and manage to go on with some options tweaking in games.
Then it became more frequent to the point I couldt play some games.
Issue:
I built this system on early 2022. No overclocking. Ever. No temperature problems.
First year there were no problems at all. Beast of a machine.
Last year or so some random hangups starting showing up.
Last couple of months games usually load correcty to menu, but after a few seconds the pc just stops responding normally, and then a BSOD may occur, with some image glitches beforce hand.
Temperatures wont even get to rise enought to suspect overheating issues.
What ive done so far:
Tried multiple drivers, options.
Removed additional ssd and reinstalled windows 10 (clean install) in new SSD.
Changed mechanical keyboard.
Bios to default (although i havent done any major changes there).
New ram (edit: also memtest86)
Windows 11 (im a win 10 user), same results.
Furmark and Cinebench running at the same time, wont go over 75º and will run much further than any game. Im completely sure it is -not- overheating issues.
Ive downloaded IWInfo but i lack the knowledge to read the results.
At least GPU gets to 250w and CPU to 60w, not enought to blame my 650w PSU, i believe.
Im having a friend bring over another GPU.
System:
Windows 10 Pro 22H2
Ryzen 9 5900x
RTX 3080 10gb
4x32GB Patriot
2x1TB NVMe M.2 Patriot
Mobo Asus Prime B550m-k
PSU Cougart XTC 650 - Model CGR ST-650 - 80 plus.
Id like to have a definite answer, before I think of any replacement.
Ive already tried removing all software variables.
How can i be sure which the hardware piece is to blame?
