Hello, I built a new computer about a month ago, and for the first several weeks i didn't have any issues. Starting about 2 weeks ago my computer would suddenly go to a black screen and the fans would rocket to full blast until I manually shut it down. I'm able to power back on afterwards. This has seemingly gotten more frequent and can happen either while idling or while gaming. I've checked power connections and did a clean install of the latest geforce driver. My temps don't seem to be an issue at all. My build is as follows:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800 X3D
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 5070
MB: MSI Pro B850-P Wifi
RAM: G. Skill Trident Z5 32Gb DDR5 6000
PSU: Corsair RM750x
SSD: Western Digital SN850X NVMe 2TB
Thermalright PS120SE Air Cooler
Windows 11

I'm relatively new at troubleshooting something like this but looking at the Windows Event Viewer I'm seeing a recurring "Critical" error of "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly" with an Event ID of 41 and Kernel-Power as the Source.

Thanks for any and all help

What are the temps normally and also when you induce the problem?

Thank you for your reply. My CPU idles at about 40C and my GPU 37C. I have HWinfo open while gaming and my CPU stays under 60C and GPU under 50C. Around when I posted this thread I reseated both my GPU and RAM and haven't had the issue, but it's still early to tell. I will reply if it happens again. Thanks!
