[SOLVED] Crashed laptop M.2 data recovery

My girlfriends laptop just died suddenly and I bought a M.2 to USB adapter to try and get the data off of it and onto my computer. When I plug the drive in it doesn't show up in "devices and drives" but it does show up in "devices and printers" as "USB 3.0 Device" and when I go to disk management, the M.2 drive says "No Media".
I don't know if this is why but windows 10 was installed on that drive maybe this is why I can't use it.
I don't know enough about data recovery to know how to proceed, so if someone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

M.2 ssd model: Samsung MZ-FLV1280 - 128GB M.2

M.2 drive is nvme (Samsung PM951).

M.2 USB enclosure seems to support SATA M.2 drives only. Doesn't support NVME drives.
