Hi
I've recently built a system and it's been running great for almost 2 months now.
Today I'm getting a blue screen KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. When I try to reboot, it says it can't find a boot device or something like that.

Also I was in the BIOS and no storage devices were detected.

I shut the computer down and notice the numlock light on the keyboard is still on.
So I turn off the power supply switch off and turn it back on and it boots up.
Is this a power supply problem?

My system is:
-CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

-ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 AM3+ AMD RX881/760G SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

-AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor FD4100WMGUSBX

-G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ

-EVGA nVidia GeForce 9800 GT Akimbo Graphic Video Card - 512MB GDDR3, PCI Express 2.0, Dual DVI, HDTV OEM 512-P3-N982-B2

-IDE harddrive

-IDE optical

-Win XP Pro SP3

Thanks

Thanks for the reply.
No, I don't have another.
Also the computer crashes in less than 5 minutes everytime. It was fine this morning. Is there some way to rule out other things?

Well I benched it and discovered a loose IDE cable connection to the motherboard. It pulled out pretty easy. I reseated it and tried to pull it out again and it was in there this time. I kind of feel like an idiot...lol I guess it shows that these blue screens can be anything.
It's been running for a while and would have crashed by now if that wasn't it.
Thanks for your help.
