Crashing Office

Hi folks,
I run Win XP with Service Pack 2. Of late, my Office 2003 files have begun crashing frequently. Repairing / Reinstalling Office 2003 have had no effect on the problem.
WhatToDO?!?!?

have you tried getting office updates? maybe there is a patch or something for sp2 incompatability.
