Crashing problems while gaming.

I've been having crashing problems with my PC for almost 2 years now. I've replaced the GPU, I've replaced the PSU. Nothing works. Whenever it crashes, it freezes and creates the most horrific noise that I can't even describe. It only seems to happen whenever my PC is under heavy load, such as playing games. I have no idea what to do. I can try and give more detail if needed. Please give any advice as I'm going a gaming convention on the 24th and wish to try and resolve this issue before then.
