i've had an issue for a little bit, and i've no longer been at 100% disk space for a while but i still have issues when downloading any game over 40gb's, it will go to 35gb and then blackscreen my computer into a freeze until i reset the pc, i've ran a hard drive test and everything comes back 100% and fine, i was wondering if this may be a memory issue?, the computer is around 2 years old as i built it not too long ago, the specs are

MSI Z170
Geforce 1060 6gb gaming
Corsair CXM 850w bronze
i5-6600k
Corsair Vengeance ddr4-16gb
Seagate HDD 2tb 64mb Cache SATA 6gb/s

Yes, memtestx86 would be a good next step. If it does turn out to be the memory you can try increasing the dram voltage slightly to get more stability or the following.

Remove Overclocks (For testing, this would include XMP profiles)
Re-Seat Memory
Re-Seat CPU
And, as always, monitor your temperatures.
Might also fire up crystal disk info and read any SMART messages your drive puts out.
