Hello, so my problem stems from games since I dont crash or anything while browsing. but as I play games such as csgo or league, my computer would go black and output the message "not optimum mode 1600x900". I suspect it may a hardware issue with the card which is a ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series. The only way to revive my computer would be to restart my pc directly. My computer is around ~half a year old so maybe its just the card?

Solution
Hi there xidx123,

You can start with updating your GPU drivers.
Other things you can do are:
- Set your monitor to its native resolution.
- Set your monitor to the optimum refresh rate.

Check these out(your monitor may not be the same brand but the way you set up the settings is the same):

Hello D_Know_WD

Ive already updated my drivers to the current ones.
I have also set my monitor and refresh rate to the correct values but to no avail. I still crash in the game. If you have any more suggestions, please send them my way.

Thanks,
