Crate Size

Is crate size (number of items in a factory crate) fixed for a
particular item? I've seen some suggestion that the size may vary
depending on how many items you're making.

And if it is fixed, is there anywhere that these sizes are listed?

Nope. The crate size is fixed. I know BE Items are 25 items a
crate.... at least everything I have made has been.

most powerups are 10. droid batteries 25. swoop bikes 50. most medical
supplies 50. most master artisan items 25. this also dependant upon just
placing everthing in ingrediant hopper and leaving the factory to produce
all items. you can generate any item amount by portioning one of the
resources by the amount you want to place in each crate.

YOu mean by placing one of the resources into the hopper in individual
stacks of a smaller size?? Wouldn't they auto stack??

Swoops will crate? I didn't think anything that came as a deed would
crate. Or is that just stuff that say "Deed for:" in its name?

Yes they autostack... the minute you place two stacks of the same item in to
the input hopper they stack up.

Yup... you get a crate full of deeds... :)

Wow. 50 swoops would take a TON of ferrous metal (about 320k, in
fact!)

A doc friend of mine just made a bunch of components that were 50/crate.

yes, but your taking the finished product out before you restart your
factory

The only place that crates are fixed are when they are created in the
factory. BE items are 25 for tissues and 50 for stims. But once out
of the factory you can split the crates into any ammount you want <
then the initial ammount from the factory. I sell crates on my vendor
of tissues from 5 to 25.

Crates are not fixed and they do not stack. The only place that a
crate is fixed is when it is produced in the factory, I.E. BE tissues
max at 25 and Stims max at 50. Once out of the output hopper you can
split those crates into any size you want. Once you split a crate
into two smaller sized crates, there is no way to stack them back
together. On the same note, once you pull one item from a crate you
may not put it back into that crate.

Well, it is out of the factory that I was wondering about. In my
architecture career I've seen crates of 5, 10, 15 (maybe), 25, 50 and
100. Just wondered if there was a reference somewhere that gave a
maximum number of items in a factory-produced crate on an item-by-item
basis. swgcraft has got all kinds of useful info, but no crate sizes.
