We are still actively developing and debugging the tile version.
I think explore and inter-branch travel patch is already
incorpolated into the tile version.

The next near-future version will include special tiles for ID'ed
items, special tiles for ego items, random pandemonium demon
tiles(2.5D only), weapon-dependent monster tiles, etc.

Awesome! Looking forward to this :) Any chance you will be incorporating the
multidrop and other patches into this version? I generally always prefer the
ascii version in my roguelikes, but you've done a great job with these
tiles, and they work well with the way Crawl is laid out. I was particularly
impressed that you did separate icons for each race and class, including all
the different weapons. Keep up the good work :)

Tiles, plural? Are you going to make the tiles match the ranpandemon
description? That would be neat.
