Craziest Mouse Problem!

I have an issue. I turned on my PC and when Windows booted and the login screen was loading for about a flash second I saw the mouse pointer. Once the login screen actually appears (in Windows 10 the large image ya' know) the mouse pointer is absolutely gone. Clicking the mouse does nothing, it has new batteries and does indeed work.

I login via just the keyboard and the mouse is absolutely nowhere on the screen. I don't know how this could have happened. Now the same thing happens every time I boot and keyboard navigation is not the easiest. I never heard of disabling the cursor but I certainly did nothing to do so.

Oh, and this may be related, but on shutdown I frequently get a "Memory Address Error <Crazy memory address digit>". I just want my cursor back!
