Well, while I can't quite argue with that price, I am also aware that that's a Clawhammer core; that means it's based on the 130nm process, and likewise, will run hot, and likely posess limited overclocking capabilities.

Aside from that, perhaps not that bad for Socket 939.

400-100 less rebate; 300USD for an FX; yeah I know Core 2 is better and for that price you could have somthing that beats the FX-60 but this is for the people who can't change sockets (not enough money)

TigerDirect is hell. You will most like never see that rebate so go ahead and say $400. Still not bad. However, since you can pick up a free LCD with the CPU on Newegg, I would still buy it from Newegg. Also as the other poster pointed one, the newegg one is San Diego which is 90nm core.
