I just upgraded my PC today changing my MoBo, CPU and RAM to an Asus Z170-E, Intel 6600k, and Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR4, and for my GPU I'm running an EVGA GTX970. With my old AMD FX-8350 I would have no more than maybe 30% usage running some programs like chrome, discord, etc.
I made sure to update all of my drivers and scanned for viruses already. If I don't do anything my CPU stays under 30% but if I move a window, or do anything it spikes to 60-70%+ and it's really choppy whenever I move windows.
I've learned that moving any program spikes my CPU usage and makes the whole system lag. My CPU also spikes to 100% when using certain pages like facebook.
