Ho there, recently the idea of buying a new gpu struck my mind. I am using my pc to render 3d images as well as playing games . I have an 1060 6gb gpu for games and tought of buying an quadro gpu for rendering. Is it possible or is it good to do something like this or is it just a waste of money. I am thinking of some kind of program wich can use my gtx1060 for games and the quadro just for rendering, considering they are two diffrent gpu's . What do you think?

Specs:
Gtx 1060 6gb oc version
Asrock b150m pro4s
Intel i5 6600 , stock cooler
24 gb ddr4 2133mhz
240 ssd
4 tb hdd

Thanks!

I think a VM setup would allow that. But you might want to upgrade to a CPU with hyperthreading. 2 different OS running with different GPU drivers installed. I haven't done VM myself, but that's what I would look into.
