Crc error external hard drive

Hello,Until a few days ago my 750GB Toshiba Solid State Drive (USB 3.0) external harddrive was working perfectly. I tried opening F: and I hear this faint click in the background and Windows tells me it cannot access drive F:.
After another try a pop-up message tells me my drive has experienced a CRC error and then it immediately gives me the option
of formatting to which i click no. I tried right clicking drive F: on my Computer but the Folder would just freeze
or become very slow. After doing some research on how to tackle the problem, I ran "checkdisk F: which brought out no bad sectors, or anything wrong. I still cannot access any of my important folders.
Is there a way for me to fix my hard drive without deleting my files and folders. Its a new Hard drive, been only using it for 2 months tops.

Crc errors indicate a problem with your drive. Try running Toshiba's software diagnostic utility on your drive and report back if it detects problems.

I could not find any Toshiba software utility's, so I run scan with FindAndMount. Both Intellectual and Normal scan shows same message: "No visible partitions found".

So, will Format disk resolve this issue, and is there any chance that I can get my data. I have around 400 GB of very important data on this disk((

p.s. I run chkdsk in Win 7 SP 1 and, as far as I can tell, it didnt find any errors

Well it seems obvious that something has happened to the partition information on this drive...
You could try and find some data recovery software and try and recover your data.
Failing that you can take the drive to a recovery speciallist and they might get all your files...but it's costly!
Did you bang or drop the drive at all? It doesn't take much to fubar a drive....my brother pooched a brand new drive from just a 6" drop....

Looks like your drive has bad sectors that are making your partition unaccessible. You will need to have a data recovery operation performed to save your data. It's possible to attempt this yourself but not easily.

What is the model number of your drive? I did not think Toshiba made 750GB solid state drives.
