Hmm. Interesting. This is a major deck-thinner. It doesn't cause your
opponent any harm, but allowing it to stay on the board more than a couple
turns is near-suicide.

First thing that came to mind here was Tooth and Nail. How about something
like:

Reconstruction (I know that name is already taken)
4GR
Sorcery
Choose one - Destroy all non-basic lands; or search your library for two
lands and put them into play.
Entwine 2

This could be for the Tooth and Nail mirror match. And even if it's not used
that way, and only one mode is chosen, it seems to be a fair cost. 6 mana to
destroy all non-basic lands isn't very powerful, but it could be worse. 6
mana to search for two lands isn't extremely powerful, but think of it this
way: an entwined Reap and Sow nets you a 2-land swing, when compared to your
opponent. It's a huge tempo boost. This also nets you a 2-land swing, only
you get both lands. And note that if it's entwined, all non-basics are
destroyed, *then* you can search for two lands (not just basics). So, if
your opponent has all 3 pieces of the Urzatron out, and you have just 4
mountains and 4 Forests, when this is cast, their Urzatron is destroyed,
then you can search out 2 Cloudposts. That seems fair for 8 mana.

What's the entwine here for? What are the two modes? As is, it's strictly
worse than Sylvan Scrying.

How about:

Reclamation Project
1G
Sorcery
Search your library for a basic land card, reveal it to all players, and put
it into your hand, and shuffle your library; or put a land card from your
hand into play tapped.
Entwine 1G

So, for 2GG, you could search your library for a Forest, and put Urza's
Tower into play tapped. It will also set you up for a land drop next turn.

What I meant was:

___________ 1G
Sorcery- Arcane

Search your library for a basic land card, reveal it and put it into
your hand. Reshuffle your library.

Spice into arcane: 1G

Here's a few more:

___________ G
Creature- Human Shaman

Threshold- _________ gets +1/+1 and the ability, "(T): Search your
library for a basic land card, reveal it and put it into your hand.
Reshuffle your library."

___________ 2RR

put it into play tapped. Reshuffle your library afterwards.

How about something like this:

Extended Expanse
4G
Sorcery
Search your library for 3 basic land cards and reveal them to all players.
Put one into play tapped, the second into your hand, and the third on the
top of your library.

Growth of Desire
2GG (Instant Version)
1GG (Sorcery Version)
Target player searches their library for a larnd card and puts it into play
tapped. Then that player shuffles their library.

Offer them a land and then blow it up ... preferably with a Sowing Salt ^_^.
Just a bit of evilness in green.

Gaea's Reclaimation
5GG
Sorcery
Each player returns all land cards from his or her graveyard to play.

Valley of Discovery
Land
T: Add 1 to your mana pool
1, T, Pay 1 life, Sacrifice ~ : Search your deck for a basic land card and
put that card into play. Shuffle your library afterwards.

Seems a touch overpowered somehow. Feels like it needs to either be
more expensive or be a 2/2, or a 1/3 (maybe 1/4)

Hmm ... Cartographer with a modified cost and an extra point of toughness, I
like it.

He don't have to find a land if he don't want to.
Use this wording, if _you_ want to find a land in his library:

"Search target players library for a land card and put it into play
under his control tapped. Then that player shuffles his library."

Increase cost by 1, because you get info about his library, and you
choose which land he'll get. 2GG as Sorcery seems ok.

While I like the sound of that version too, I meant what I wrote. I'm aware
the one searching doesn't have to find it ... but who would turn down the
chance to thin their deck for free and get out another land ... unless they
know you're packing a load of LD?

Wonder what would be ultimately more useful ... probably your version
for you make sure that you get what you want to blow up.
