Create-A-Clan Generator Updates

While the whole Create-A-Clan concept has always interested me, I found
the tools needed to be somewhat inaccessible. I realized that some
people in my playgroup could probably get-through the creation process
but that a greater number of them would simply never get around to
learning the tools.

This led to the creation of an online generator for Crypt cards and
Hunting Ground master cards.

Cards suitable for printing can be created in a matter of seconds by
supplying the URLs of images found on the web.

http://vtesinla.org/CreateaClan/crd.asp

A forum at www.vtesinla.org is dedicated to the subject and can be used
to ask technical questions about the program.

There is also a Yahoo! group that is home to some of the additional
background templates that can be used (beyond the ones that can be
selected in the drop-down menu).

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/createaclan/

Members interested in designing their own custom clan backgrounds can
download the light grey background, modify it to their liking, and
upload their creations.

A special thanks to Joe Churchill's www.Warghoul.com for the awesome
photoshop templates that were the basis of my work.

It does work under Firefox. What happens is that, if you click on the above
link, Firefox attempts to access the below web page (which does not exist).

http://vtesinla.org/CreateaCla%ADn/crd.asp

If you just choose not to click on that link, and type it instead, you'll be
able to see that web page under Firefox.

i can see the page, i can upload images and stuff, but the result is
quite broken, with wrong image size and background/layout issue...

In addition to a handful of bug fixes, I've added in a way to choose to
sort of outline your card names in black--a welcome addition if you've
selected a light clan background. It looks a little scary when zoomed
to 500% but it prints reasonably well.

The first few user-created backgrounds have also been added to the
Yahoo! group.

Another update...

When you want to add the directed action symbol to your card text all
you have to do is enter type (D) in your card text and the symbol will
be placed for you.

And still another update...

Vampires can now have the flight symbol. It is added the same way you
add the directed action symbol. Type (flight) or type (D) and the
symbol will appear in the card text at the appropriate point.
