Is there a way to create a button on the toolbar of Windows Explorer to
create a new folder? Having to create many folders, it is tiresome to have
to constantly repeat all of the mouse clicks required.

TIA

Bruce

If you use the Windows Start Menu rather than the Classic start menu, the new folder
option is on the task pane.

Thank you, I'll check that out.

In Windows Explorer, hold down the ALT key and press F, W, F in sequence.

She means Common Tasks in Folders (ie webview) versus Classic View rather than the new/old Start Menu.

I had a general idea of what she was referring to. I find the 'webview' cute
but not very functional. I prefer to be able to see all pertinent file info
rather than icons with limited detail.

Thanks for the follow up.

Webview/Common Tasks refer to the side pane only, details/list/icons/tiles is available with or without, and are independent of, Common Tasks.
