[SOLVED] Create new folders

I have an Asus FX504 laptop with a 15" display. I am not sure whether my issue is software driven or hardware. When I right click on the main screen to create a new folder, for example,
all I get is the round symbole going around and around. It never brings up a new folder option. Again, I don't know if that is a Win10 issue or the screen hardware issues. If you have come across this type of problem, please let me know.

You are right-clicking an empty area of the Desktop, clicking "New", and then selecting "Folder" - correct?

What do you do to get out of the loop (round symbol going around and around)?

It could be something has been corrupted in Windows.

You could try "sfc /scannow" via the command prompt. May find and fix the corrupted process.
