I have been using Windows 11 Pro for a few months now, and everything has been fine, and I'm surprisingly happy with this new OS.
But I have run into a very minor issue, which I haven't had previously.
I quite often use right-click -> Create New .txt File, and it has been working fine until today. I've just noticed it has gone missing from the right-click context menu (There is an option to create an rtf-file instead).
I would like to get the option back, as i use txt files for all sorts of things.
I've found plenty of workarounds online, but they all require me to make changes to the registry. I'm not unfamiliar with reg.edit, but I was hoping I could get the "create new txt file" back, without making random changes to the registry. I don't want to follow some possibly broken guide to changing the registry and messing things up.
So my question is, does anyone know a fix to this inconvenience, some setting in options perhaps?
For now, I have just added a shortcut to Notepad on my taskbar, but right clicking was a lot easier.
Thanks in advance for any replies
EDIT: Type-O's
