Creating a custom Windows ISO to remove unwanted components

to create a custom Windows ISO removing components I didn't want. It worked perfectly well except that I removed a few too many components and broke some functionality that I needed. I tried to give it another shot with the intention of removing fewer components however uupdump.net has been down for the last few days and I have tried a bunch of different ISOs including using a localhost to generate a script from uupdump.net and using several mirrors including https://www.uupdump.cn/ and https://www.uup.ee/ and every time I try to remove the internet components with MSMG toolkit, they all have an * and can't be marked for removal.

Is anyone familiar with this process that could potentially point me to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Thanks, that at least gives me something to try. I asked them. Hopefully someone has a solution.

You could also try NTLite, which claims to allow you to remove components from the ISO.
