Hi PC addicts,
I would like to ask how is it possible to create a recovery partition of my OS? I couldn't use windows default settings to create a restore point because that only works with USBs or am I wrong? I tried to create a 20GB large partition which was formatted as another disk and still didn't work... I would like to create this restore point so when something goes wrong I'm happy with booting from the partition and possibly restoring or reinstalling the OS from the partition otherwise if something crashes I can only reinstall from a blank file... Well also is it possible to create the restore point of my SSD to a partition which is on my HDD? Thank you

Macrium Reflect does this easily.

Create a folder on the HDD, run Macrium...
Create an image in that folder.
Create a bootable CD or USB, in the Macrium interface. (It prompts you to do this)
If you ever need it, boot from that CD or USB, tell it what image to use, and what drive to recover to.

Done. Easy.
