I'm looking to get off of my onboard sound. I don't need anything too extreme, not hooking it up to any surround sound system, but i do have a pretty nice headset, and would like to know that my sound would be good if I went to a surround sound system.

If it is really worth it then I would step up to the Xonar DX, but I don't think that it would be worth it with my headset/speakers as is.
