Creative or Elsa?

I have seen these two graphics cards on sale at www.jungle.com (im from the UK):

Elsa Gladiac 920 GeForce 3 64mb DDR SDRAM AGP (Manuf.Part No.: 60360 )
or

3D Blaster GeForce3 64MB AGP (Manuf.Part No.: 7000000002088 )
and they are both around the same price. (£300) Which shall I choose? Does one of them have a bad side?

Have a look at the bundle. You get quite an extensive bundle with the Elsa card, don't know about the Creative.

The Elsa has 3.8ns memory... It overclock very well, I've oc:ed mine from 200/460 to 228/533... Running 3DMark2001 continusly without a hitch.. Any higher then that and 3Dmark2001 will crash though...

I do have a lot of fans, including two card coolers, and I did change the onboard fan against a Blue Orb...

I highly recommend Elsa, but I don't have anything against Creative either. Performance wise I belive is equal so look at the bundle and go with your guts...

Do you reckon that a Geforce 3 would be good for my system?
700mhz, 128ram, TNT2? Would you say that more viarants of the Geforce 3 would be better? ty

It certainly wouldn't hurt...

It's doubtful if you get that big of an improvent though, since your CPU is kind of slow...

Personally, I would upgrade the CPU first and then the vcard. But that's just me...

It don't quite follow... More variants? You mean other brands? All I've heard is that the Visiontek has questionable quality on it's heatsink and doesn't overclock very well...

Also I found a 3d Prophet II GTS Ultra - 64mb DDR AGP TV+DVI Out for £425 while the GF3 is only 300! is the 3d Prophet II GTS Ultra better than the GF3?

I don't have any experience with the Prophet.

But it's very unlikely. At least in coming games...
