Creative SB Tactic 3d rage vs.?

Hi, i have creative sb tactic 3d rage headset but its too uncomfortable and flat bass. So i need a headset which will beat rage.

my priority is bass sounds, it must be deep and smooth basses. rage was so tough and muddy.

whats your opinions?

my budget is 150 $

and my headset must be really better than tactic 3d rage.

Get headphones from a company known for 'audio' not 'sound cards and integrated circuits'.

EDIT: I actually own a Creative Recon 3D PCIe Sound Card, and some X-Fi's, Vibra's, etc. I had an ISA-16 SB-Pro v2.0 Compatible sound card, with Pro Audio Spectrum support, and almost everything under the sun bar GUS and AWE-32 / Daughterboard for SB16, etc. (No General MIDI, just OPL3 MIDI).

So yeah, I am a pro sound card person. 😉

In games it makes a difference, and can reduce frame 'sags', where the frame rate dips down suddenly, then back up. (Less so on modern systems with SSD's and quad core processors I'll admit though).

But yeah man, find good headphones from your local Hi-Fi or Electronics Superstore... here in Australia we have JB Hi-Fi. Good headphones are not really a 'hardware component' in the sense like integrated circuits and CPU's, etc. are.
