Hi there,

I recently picked up the Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum. I've had some issues with the drivers, but I managed to get everything figured out. Apparently Creative has a bunch of driver issues...

Anyway, I finally got everything figured out so I could finally install them. Everything going smooth, until Windows 10 crashes with error DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION. Never happened before, yet can't get past it when installing these drivers.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks so much!

I'm not sure whether it's gonna help or not but try the steps mentioned on this guide.

Fresh drivers right from Creative. Running those now and I'll let you know. Thanks!

Thanks... I like to keep a fresh PC anyways, so I'm going to reinstall Windows and see if that helps.

Just saw this now, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! Drivers installed correctly, but now I'm having more errors...

Drivers show up in device manager, but I get a Code 10 error. None of the fixes online that I've found work.

Hi again to both of you...

First, I really appreciate the help! The drivers randomly started working, and I got them installed perfectly.
Unfortuently, I'm getting a Code 10 error in Device Manager. Nothing I've found online has fixed it. Trying some stuff now, but I'll let you know if it doesn't work.
