Crimson update - Can not load games.

Hi,

I just recently updated to AMD Crimson however, it is has not cause errors in almost all my games. Ive reverted back to Catalyst but still the errors persist. These errors first occurred when i installed Crimson.

Error Messages:
'failed to create D3D Device' (left 4 dead 2)

Most games are either freezing or immediately becoming unresponsive.

Running Windows 10 64 Bit

Crimson has had some issues.

You need to run DDU to clean out the old drivers:

http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Then install the last CCC drivers, 15.7.1, and see if the issue is resolved.

Hopefully the Crimson drivers did not kill your GPU due to the bug that sets the fan profile to 20% even when gaming.

Thanks Jimysmitty for your advice.

I have done as you have instructed but unfortunately I'm still getting the same error messages and crashes on the same games.

I have reported this twice now to AMD but still no response on issue. Would you have any further advice or solutions?

(im on my 6th different attempt at tryna solve this. have googled and looked through most of the steam support forum as well)
