Hi I recently factory reset my HDD and I go to my event log and I see I have critical, warning and error in my event log a total of 10. I know this is very bad for the computer and a Microsoft tech guy said it's my internet corrupting the files which can spread to all of the computers. I have windows 7 and I need to know how I can manually clear these logs rather than spend 160 bucks on someone else to fix it.

Stuff in the logs is no issue - something happened. Pulling the plug on your computer will generate a critical Kernel Power Error.

Are you sure they're from MS? That's a common scam people pull to convince you that you need to get it fixed, and then install keyloggers etc. and do an identity theft.

Microsoft will never cold-call you.
