I have a Windows 10 PC and I'm stuck on the blue screen after new update.
I keep getting error code: Critical Process Died.

I tried troubleshooting and reverting to the old version but cannot. I only updated my PC last night and today could not boot up at all. I looked this error code up on google and tried numerous type commands but nothing has changed. I would greatly appreciate any insight or help. Thank you.

What have you tried?

Have you tried getting into Startup/Automatic Repair? You can trigger this if you have back-to-back failed bootups to the OS GUI. At Automatic repair screen choose Advanced options>Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>System restore.

This option should help revert your platform to a time prior to the update.

If you do manage to get the system back up and running, I'd backup any and/or all mission critical content from the system and try reinstalling the OS after recreating the bootable USB installer using Windows Media Creation Tools.

Hi Lutfij,

These are the commands I have already tried:

bootrec /fixmbr

bootrec /fixboot

bootsect /nt60 sys

bootrec /rebuild

sfc /scannow

chkdsk c:

*Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

*Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

*Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

I did try the Automatic Repair as well as navigating to: Advanced options>Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>System restore. To try restoring and uninstalling the latest update.

All of which did not work. I am unable to select a Drive to restore the previous WIN version, which is why it doesn't allow me to use this option. I am stuck in a loop of restarting all due to this new update. I feel like I've watched all the youtube videos available and am still stuck. I would greatly appreciate any tips. Thanks so much for taking the time!
