critical process error windows 8

my laptop showing me critical_ process_died error with Blue screen " your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info and then we'll restart for you (0% complete)" and reboot after that go blank. I have to push power button hard to shut it down. I have sony vaio t series laptop. Windows 8.what the Problem is this?

Am I correct in understanding that your laptop no longer turns on or no longer loads windows when you turn it on?
The blue screen probably indicates a hardware error. It could be a temporary issue that will be fixed with rebooting. If your computer won't turn on, however, it is probably a serious hardware failure.
If your computer turns on but doesn't load windows, you could have a failed hard drive. If it doesn't turn on at all, you could have a bad motherboard or RAM.
