This Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error occurs due to the program that uses multiple processes to interact with your processor. If the processor is unable to process these multiple processes properly, it generates the CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error. • After entering into the safe mode, log on with the administrator account.
• Click Desktop tile.
• On the desktop screen, type Windows + R keys simultaneously to initiate the Run command box.
• In the Run command box, type compmgmt.msc.
• Click Device Manager.
• On the right pane, search for the driver causing the issues.
• Once done, reinstall the drivers properly or try updating your drivers. If you have installed any program before this error occurred, uninstall the program.
• If still the problem persists, it’s time to refresh your PC or reset your PC.
• Follow the steps given below to accomplish the task. Make sure that you are in the safe mode.
• log on with the administrator account.
• Click Desktop tile.
• Hover mouse to the bottom right corner of the desktop.
• Click Settings.
• From the bottom of the pane, click Change PC settings.
• Scroll down to General.
• Form the right pane, click Refresh Your PC Without Affecting Your Files or Remove Everything and Reinstall Windows.
• Insert Windows 8 installation DVD and follow onscreen instructions thereafter.
