I'm considering this built for a system that will be used for computer gaming (WOW) and document editing. Please critique. TIA.

FYI, for wow and document editing (i.e. MS Word) that system is overkill^3.

ASRock isn't the greatest brand ever--you might consider a P6T or Gigabyte on the mobo.

If you do plan on SLI later you're going to have to upgrade the PSU.

That 30" is going to burn a hole through your bank account.

an E8500/P45/4gig Pi-Black would more than meet your needs, and be close to half the price. Is there a need for the bleeding-edge setup?

The build is for my wife. She wants it to be capable for future gaming demands. The ASRock seemed to get good reviews at Newegg but I'll look at the other ones and a bigger PSU as well. Thanks!

Never a problem. You may want to take a look at a 24" monitor though. I mean, 30 is just so...big (and I hope you know there is an awesome joke to be made, but I am restraining myself here 😉)

+1 to different motherboard.
I would also suggest considering a gtx285 over a gtx280. Not much price difference.
I would ditch the VelociRaptor and get a WD caviar black instead.

Also find someone to verify that a gtx280/285 will fit well into your P180 case.

I think you should go for a 24" too...30" is huge, its too big for me, I would actually prefer to game on a 24" instead, price differences aside. If you sit 5 feet away from your monitor, then maybe you consider the 30"

I'm also pretty sure that the GPU would fit in the P182. I have a friend running one with a new core i7 setup...and knowing him, I would have to assume he either has a new gtx, or an hd 4xxx series

It will fit, but it limits you to 3 hard drives. I had this issue with my 8800gtx and that's why I didn't get the P182.
