I'm upgrading my gaming rig that is a bit outdated and starting to feel its age. This image shows my current system on the left, and the upgrades I'm doing on the right. Links are numbered. Particularly I want to make sure I'm not overlooking a compatibility issue or something basic like that. Please let me know if you think there is something I should substitute or add on, or if I'm overdoing it in any area. Budget is $1500 but I'd like to keep it around $1200 if possible. I'm pretty illiterate when it comes to upgrades and never learned much of the technical lingo that comes with PC parts, so any help is appreciated here.
