Hello guys,

Can you please critique this prebuilt PC that I'm thinking of buying. It's in EU and costs 1300 eur:

Motherboard: ASUS H110M-K LGA1151 H110 2DDR4(Dual Channel) maxRAM 32GB 1 x D-Sub + 1 x DVI microATX
CPU: INTEL Core I7-7700 3,6GHz LGA1151 8M Cache Boxed CPU
RAM: KINGSTON 16GB 2133MHz DDR4 Non-ECC CL15 DIMM 1Rx8
GPU: ASUS TURBO-GTX1060-6G GTX1060 DVI 2xHDMI 2xDisplayPort 6GB GDDR5
HDD: WD Desktop Blue WD10EZEX 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache Internal 3,5inch Desktop HDD RoHS compliant Bulk
SSD: ADATA SP550 240GB SSD 2.5inch SATA3 6Gb/s 560/510 75K max
PSU: CHIEFTEC 750W PSU, 85+,230V W/CABLE MNG
Case: THERMALTAKE Versa N21 White

Solution
weak spot:
cooler of the CPU
power supply warranty is only 2 years, which is not a good sign. Good ones do have 5years.
possibly one 16GB stick instead of 2x8 (dual channel would be better in performance), RAM is not 2400MHz which the 7700 would support natively
H110m board is a very basic board, less connection possibilities than e.g. B250
SSD just 3years warranty, TWB value is just 90TB, bit slow but ok for the price

otherwise, have a look at these builds:

extra cooler will be better, yes
1. do you have a skylake processor to make the motherboard kaby lake ready? if not get a 2 series board that supports kaby lake natively.
2. not familiar with chieftec, I have heard the name but never made an impression. 750w is about 200W over the actual suggested needs. a 550W quality unit will be the way to go. Seasonic G, Corsair RMx, EVGA supernova G2/G3/P2/T2. any of these 550W will be fine

Thing is that it's prebuilt AND not possible to change anything. I have been worrying about motherboard being old'ish, but I assume they upgraded the bios themselves? If they did, it should work without any bugs? And how do I check if it's been properly upgraded? All in all, if this motherboard has been upgraded, is this PC built a go?

As for the price they allow to pay for it in monthly installments so I'm fine with overpaying a little bit. I tried making a similar PC by buying individual parts and the price came really close to what they're selling this PC for.

If the BIOS is not up to date it wouldn´t boot at all 😉

The prebuilt has some weak spots which you wouldn´t have by building it yourself. The price tag would be much lower with better quality parts:

this would be the prebuilt price if built yourself: power supply is just a place holder for the price. The chieftec A80 should be like 65€. Also no operating system, cooler and optical drive built in:

Aha, 200 eur difference. Hmm... Well besides the price what are the weakest spots in that build and how important it is?

I also asked them about the cooler, still waiting on the reply. Afaik built in coolers are meh and it's always better to spend a bit extra and get that 212, right?
