That looks good except for the power supply - Raidmax is a truly awful, awful, awful brand. Stay very far away from them.

That case is decent but that's one of those things that is subjective. Otherwise the rest of the build looks really good.

And if you want to save a few bucks for a quick bite to eat, you can find cheaper DVD burners out there.

Something from Antec, Seasonic, or Corsair should do you well.

This build will last you as long as you want it to last. If you don't care about ultra high settings all the time, then it will last you awhile. But some people really like to play on like ultra all the time, and they have to upgrade more often.

Most of the new video cards will last for years without having to upgrade. I have a Crossfire setup with dual 7870s and that is pretty amazing if you ask me.

I'd say Corsair (save for the Builder or Gaming series) will do well, and Seasonic is always a safe bet.

I believe the card will last a long time, yes. I have 2 GTX570's, and they're more than a year old and play everything on high. I just bought them for $300.

You should be fine for awhile.
