Cross boarder warranty?

Hi


I built my comp and bought a sony 3d display about 2 weeks ago in canada.

I have been able to register all the registration required warranty parts.


I am wondering, if something happens to my system, will I still be protected by warranty ? Given that I bought my parts in canada?

Also, will I have to ship my parts to manufactures in Canada?

This is really something you should ask the manufacturers of your components, or at the very least, the vendor you bought them from.

well the store i bought it from is not answering phone or email for crap, their CS is terrible.

I also contacted all 6 manufacterers and awaiting respond.


but in general, just because I bought it in Canada doesn't mean I won't be under protection right? at the very least I should be protected by the Canadian branch of the manufacturer right?

IN theory you would be protected. of course the negative is that if you need warranty it will have to be sent back to canada, unless a manufacture specifically states they will support it internationally

what if they have manufacture in the state? i can't imagine intel / corsair / xfx and gigabyte not having their main factory in US.
