well, i ran the same 3dmark 06
scores first time with x16 x4 19400
scores with x8 x8 today 19100
both tests are the same freebee test at 1280 in 3dmark06
you will forgive me if i dont sound over the moon with the results. Havnt tried any other benches as I have a terminally sick motherboard which I am trying to revive

before card was reseated I was getting

3DMark Score 15789
SM 2.0 Score 6269
SM 3.0 Score 7211
CPU Score 4656

with it disabled i get

16089 3DMarks
SM 2.0 Score 6347
SM 3.0 Score 7431
CPU Score 4688

which is the going rate for one 5770 i think

and at present I am getting about 3k more for the 2nd one.

gunna run it one last time and if the numbers are shocking, i will repost...

besides all of that I am v happy with the performance of the 2 cards

I could never get my crossfire to activate on my old OS (xp64) with a borrowed 4870. Might have to give it another shot now that I have windows 7, hah! Will report back if I can get my buddy to bring his by any time soon.
