Crossfire 6950s on 1440x900 or 1 6950 on 4320x900?

In my current build I have around 220$ leftover to spend. I already have one Radeon 6950, so I could buy another one to crossfire on a single monitor. However, I also have a 1440x900 display, so I could buy 2 additional monitors and run eyefinity between the 3 for a 4320x900 Eyefinity on a single 6950. I'd only have money for 1 option, so which is the better one?

Neither, your best option is to grab a nice new monitor, then save up for a second 6950 in time, scour ebay for that. You should be able to find one for decently cheap.

2x 6950 on that low of a res monitor is overkill, so you can enjoy pretty great framerates on a shiny nice high res monitor while you wait a for a second to be future proof and crank everything up.
