Hey guys. I have an Alienware Aurora with a MS-7591 Motherboard. http://www.ascendtech.us/dell-4vwf2-ms-7591-motherboard_i_mbd4vwf2ms7591m.aspx

I recently bought a sapphire 7950 and I like it a lot but I'm thinking about getting another one so that I can really crank up all the settings. The one card already handles almost all of them on max so I'm assuming a second one will be overkill.

my concern is the spacing between the two PCIex16 slots. One card will pretty much be sitting on top of the other because the slots are so close. I believe this is how they intended it to be but I'm not sure about it.

Wanted to add that the CPU in this rig is an i7 920 at 2.6ghz.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You may be better off getting one card, and waiting for the 9000 series to be released and replace it then. Only problem is nobody knows the price or performance yet. Since most 7950s have great coolers on them it might be fine for both being there, only by actually doing it can you tell though.
That is fairly close, but it should be fine in terms of fitting. You can measure based on card specs to be sure. It might not be a good idea to be venting a card right into another card that close though. It should fit, it might be too hot though.
