Crossfire APU & GPU

Hi
I have seen articles that the APU and GPU can now be crossfired.
Is that true?
If it is can I crossfire my R7 (APU) just says R7 and my RX 470 4 GB and how can i do it?
I'm using a AMD A-10 7890K processor.

Pretty sure the A10 7890k has a variant of R7 240 onboard graphics, so you can only crossfire it with another R7 240 graphics card. You can't have two completely different graphics cards and chips yet crossfire them. They have to be the same chip.

They are not Crossfire compatible or dual gpu compatible(what AMD calls pairing and apu and compatible gpu). There is 1 or 2 DX12 games that will support them in multi gpu mode but the apus gpu is so weak I doubt you'll see much of an performance increase.

Also, you will be much better off getting a 460 or similar then crossfiring bassically two 240 level cards.
