hello, i got a sapphire vapor r9 290x. it says it supports crossfire. but i can't find the plug for it. is crossfire done through a software approach now rather then a hardware approach or is there some kind of hidden panel i don't see
The xfire for many of the 200 series cards (including your 290x) is handled through the PCIE slot and you dont need a xfire bride cable, only need to activate Xfire in the catalyst control center
