Crossfire not available since 11.10 ati driver update.

Since I upgraded to the release 11.10 drivers I am not able to enable crossfire in CCC. Using the 11.10 preview drivers it was perfectly fine and my second GPU is detected in GPU-Z so there is nothing wrong with it. Is anyone else having this issue?

crossfire 6970
2500k @ 3.3ghz
1tb HD
8GB ripjaws
Asus p67A mainboard

Only thing I can think of that I have changed (besides updating drivers) is installing a pcie 1x slot sound card. Could this have any effect?
