I have two HD 7950's and I have a crossfire bridge. The second video card doesn't work on any monitors and doesn't show up anywhere on my computer. The fans are working on the second video card, so I know that its fully in the slot and has power.

I'm using Techpowerup to see if my second card is even recognized and its not.

I will say that I'm not 100% sure that I need two crossfire bridges for it to work. I currently only have one crossfire bridge. I have seen some websites show both crossfire bridges connected and others only use one. My two HD 7950's both have two crossfire bridge slots.

I have an msi 970a-g46 motherboard and it says that it supports crossfire. I did read on AMD's website that both Videos have to be plugged into (8x) slots for it to work. I couldn't find anywhere on the MSI website or my manual if the second slot is (8x). But, I figured if it says its crossfire ready it should be (8x).

I've uninstalled the drivers, and reinstalled, then installed my second video card and it still didn't work.

I'm at a loss as to why my second video card's fans are working, but it isn't recognized by my computer and it doesn't work on any monitor.

Solution
Seems like a problem with you're 2nd PCIe slot, try both cards INDIVIDUALLY in top slot to ensure they are both working as intended, then try ONE of those cards in the 2nd slot by ITSELF, see if all works as intended, this will rule out the PCIe slot itself and make sure both cards have no faults in the process
